BookCon, aka music to a fangirl's ears, is an event that will be held in New York City on May 31st. The guest list includes many successful authors such as Rick Riordan, Cassandra Clare, Veronica Roth, John Green and James Patterson. Even the infamous Grumpy Cat will be attending this event. My sister and I are really hoping to attend because not only would we meet these spectacular authors but we will also get free, signed books from many of them. I'm also really looking forward to meeting some of the smaller authors that will be attending such as J. D. Netto, Heather Todd and Stephanie Feuer.
Another thing that I am really looking forward to is finding new books to discover from publishing companies that will be there and giving away. Many books at the event will be given out before their actual release date! By the time I come back home I'm going to have a horde of new books to add to my collection. I'm very excited for this event and I'm crossing my fingers that I can actually attend.
